It’s been a week to remember for Ben.
He was at the crease with Ben Duckett when England entered the record books with a series 3-0 win over Pakistan.
This was the first time Pakistan had fallen to a clean sweep defeat in a home Test series.
Since Ben was appointed captain, England boast a record of nine wins from 10 Tests. Considering England's fortunes were at rock bottom at the beginning of 2022 the turn around has been remarkable.
On the day England won the final Test in Karachi, the BBC announced that Ben had been nominated for Sports Personality of the Year – he previously won the award in 2019.
Unable to attend the ceremony due to a bug picked up in Pakistan, Ben finished runner-up in the prestigious BBC award.
