Ben will not be part of England’s T20 World Cup defence this summer after announcing he has withdrawn from the selection process.
It is no secret that the England Test captain is prioritising red ball cricket, with a return to a full allrounder's role on the cards.
Since returning from India, Ben has been working on his fitness with the express aim of returning to the bowling line-up.
With the Test series against the West Indies starting in July, Ben is expected to make several County Championship appearances for Durham beforehand.
