Ben is flying to India for the upcoming four match Test series. Once in India, Ben will be concentrating on his preparations for the opening Chennai Test starting on 5 February.
In India, England will be facing an in-form home team who have recently gained a stunning series win over Australia.
To compete against India, England will need to be at their best, and all eyes will be on Ben to provide the “X-Factor” in this much anticipated series.
After completing his England duties, Ben will remain in India for the IPL.
Rajasthan Royals announced they had retained Ben for the 2021 edition of the IPL.
After a successful 2017 IPL with Rising Pune Supergiant, Ben was signed by the Royals in the 2018 auction for £1.4 million. He has been part of the Rajasthan franchise since his IPL debut for the Royals in April 2018.
Ben will be hoping to build on his 2020 IPL performances. In eight matches, he hit 285 runs including an IPL career best 107no against Mumbai Indians.
