Ben has returned to the Rajasthan Royals after spending time with his family in New Zealand.
Prior to joining the Royals, Ben’s last appearance was England’s first Test win over Pakistan in early August. The ECB then announced Ben would not be available for the remaining two Tests for “family reasons.”
The Stokes family subsequently revealed that Ben’s father, Ged, had been diagnosed with brain cancer.
After spending time with his parents, Ben joined up with his Rajasthan teammates in early October. He made his IPL return in the Royals 5 wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Moving to opener, Ben then hit 41 (6 fours) off 35 balls in the loss to Delhi Capitals.
