Back to his Best

After a disappointing Ashes series, Ben was back to his best in Bridgetown.

Scoring his first century since 2020, Ben’s 120 (6 sixes, 11 fours ) off 128 balls signalled his return to form with the bat. It was also Ben's first Test century in the West Indies, bettering his previous high of 79.

Together with Joe Root (153), Ben added 129 runs for the fourth wicket and helped England to take pole position in the second Test after they declared on 507-9.

On his way to his eleventh Test century, Ben joined a select club of players who have passed 5000 runs and taken over 150 wickets in Tests.
