Yesterday, in a Daily Mirror exclusive, Ben revealed he has undergone further surgery on his index finger.
After initial surgery, Ben played for Durham and England. While playing Ben was in considerable pain, resulting in further surgery.
During his indefinite break from cricket, Ben will begin a period of rehab. The Daily Mirror exclusive suggests early signs indicate Ben will be able to resume his career pain free.
